This past Tuesday March 11, 2014 was world plumbing day. Last year we wrote a blog about this day celebrating the great advances in the plumbing industries. We don’t hear much about world plumbing day yet everyone uses plumbing from the poor to the rich and famous. What would you do without your toilet or hot shower? Many people take for granted the state of the art sanitation system we have. Once the waste goes down the drains in your home it does not just disappear it travels into the city sewer into a lift station and travels miles to a treatment plant where it is treated for irrigation. Although a lot of people have plumbing in their home there’s still many people in the world that do not have the luxury of flushing a toilet or doing a load of laundry, unfortunately they have to go to the river to do laundry.
Orlando and its residents should celebrate world plumbing day and not take for granted the use of flushing your toilet as we are all one natural disaster from losing it. Remember the hurricanes in 2004 when we were without plumbing for a few days or even weeks? It was a horrible experience and this is why we should not take our plumbing for granted and appreciate it.
We also serve Orlando, Casselberry, Lake Mary, Winter Springs , Longwood, Apopka, Altamonte Springs, Deltona, Winter Park, Oviedo, Sanford, Maitland, and all of Florida.
