It has been brought to my attention that the Flushmate pressure assisted toilets 503 series have had a 18 million dollar settlement on their pressure assisted tanks which are installed in various toilet brands such as American Standard, Crane, Ecotech, Eljer, Gerber, Kohler, Mancesa, Mansfield, Orion, St. Thomas, Universal Rundle, Vitra, Vitromex, and Western Pottery. These toilet tanks have had issues leaking or even bursting and causing damage and bodily injury. These toilets were manufactured from October 14, 1997 to June 30, 2009. The settlement reimburses you for previous out of pocket expenses such as Flushmate repair kit, replacement pressure vessel or new toilet. You have to file a claim at www.flushmateclaims.com or call us. If you have these toilets and have not repaired the defective recalled part, we suggest you do and you can get the parts to repair these toilets at www.flushmate.com/recall. We suggest you get these parts and call an Orlando plumber to install the parts to prevent your toilet from leaking or even worse exploding. If you need a plumber in Florida to help you with your plumbing needs give use a call at 407-710-0210.
